Obituaries

Don W. Atkinson age 72 of Algonac, MI. died August 9, 2015 in the St. Johns River District Hospital.  He was born January 31, 1943 in Mt. Clemens, MI.  He married Arlene M. Feldmann on January 28, 1967 in Algonac. Don was a life member of the Fred Quandt V.F. W. Post 3901 of Algonac, the NRA and the American Legion. Mr. Atkinson is survived by his wife Arlene, daughter Erin (Dan) Bitten, granddaughter Kara (Dennis Kunselman) Bitten, and a great granddaughter Brynlee Kunselman.  Predeceased by a brother Paul Atkinson. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to the Algonac V.F.W. Monument Fund.  Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.
