Charles Brownie Blanton Sr.
Age 75 of Algonac entered into Enteral Life April 10, 2007. He was born June 3, 1931 in Derby, Virginia. He married Kathleen Morefield June 25, 1949. Brownie was a Lions Club member for many years and was past District Governor. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his wife Kathleen, children Shirley (Gary) Aspenleiter of Marine City, Charles B. (Teri) Blanton Jr. of Cottrellville, Darlene (Jim) Wagner, Rick Blanton, Roger Blanton, Rob (Becky) Blanton all of Algonac, sister Joan Moore of Highland. Grandchildren Kari McGraw, Michelle (Mike) Evans, Melanie (Jason) Sitz, Jamie (Mark) Mallia, Doug, Amy, Craig and Ginger Blanton. Great grandchildren Jason, Brandon, Victor Sitz, MaKenna Aspenleiter and Maya Evans. Preceded in death by his parents James and Sarah (Hardin) Blanton, grandson Curtis Aspenleiter, 2 brothers and one sister. Brownie will be sadley missed by his family and friends. Funeral service 2:00 pm Saturday April 14, 2007 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Visitation Friday 6-9 PM. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Algonac.
