Dolores J. Crampton
age 79 of Algonac, MI. died September 19, 2016 in St. Johns River District Hospital. She was born November 30, 1936 in Waynesburg, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Maledon.

Dolores was a former member of the Algonac Lioness Club, a member of the Piece to Peace Quilters, the Care Bag Movement, Algonac Clay Historical Society and the Women’s Life. She was also, an active member of the Algonac Church of Christ.

Mrs. Crampton is survived by her children Lori (Frank) Sass, Linda Scott, Charley (Linda) Maledon, Nancy (Stephen) Gaarenstroom. Siblings William (Fay) Greer, Carol Cartwright, and Robert (Lora) Greer, grandchildren Sarah (Steven) Herring, Bryan (Heather) Scott, Megan (Colter) Baker, Ian Sass, Ryan Sass, Dale Gaarenstroom, and Amy (John) Beveridge, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday September 24, 2016, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM, in the Algonac Church of Christ. Funeral home visitation 1-4 & 6-9 PM Friday September 23, 2016 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
