Norman Hall Foster
age 78, formerly of Algonac MI, passed away August 10, 2016 in the Brookdale ALF of Troy, MI. He was born May 28, 1938 in Wyandotte, MI.
Norm graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1956, and received his degree in Pharmacology from Ferris Institute in 1960 where he was a member of the Phi Delta Chi Fraternity. He owned and operated Algonac Drug Store and Fair Haven Pharmacy and served as a pharmacist at River District Hospital. He was a former member of the Algonac City Council and the Algonac Zoning Board.
Mr. Foster is survived by his children Bradley (Karen) Foster, Kristina Hitchens, Jacqueline (Robert) Beccari, his sister Marilyn (James) Pinkerton, grandchildren Kalina Foster, Brianna Foster, Madilyn Hitchens, Andrew Hitchens, Vincent Beccari, and Dominic Beccari. Predeceased by his son Gregg R. Foster.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 15, 2016 in Gilbert Funeral Home Algonac. Visitation 1-4 & 6-9 PM Sunday. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, Algonac. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Algonac/Clay Twp. Historical Society.
