Leona I. Grech
age 90 of Algonac, MI. died July 2, 2016 in the St. John River District Hospital. She was born February 22, 1926 in Bay City, MI. She married Anthony Grech on March 2, 1943 in Rochester, MI. he died December 7, 1998.

Leona enjoyed family, cooking, baking, gardening, needle work and entertaining family and friends.

Mrs. Grech is survived by her children Anthony(Edeltraud), Charles (Carol), and the late John, grandchildren Monika (Ken), Tony (Janet), Tom (Bonnie), Charles, Tracey, and Jamie, nieces and nephews George (Karen), Nina (Greg), the late Frank (Michelle), Marge (Chris), and Ray.

Mrs. Grech will be instate at 10:30 AM with mass at 11:00 AM Friday July 8, 2016 in Our Lady On the River Parish St. Catherines Catholic Church, Algonac. Visitation 1-4 & 6-9 PM Thursday in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Burial will be in the Christian Memorial Cultural Center Cemetery, Rochester Hills, MI. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
