John W. “Shorty” Leet  Age 61 of Marine City, MI. died September 8, 2012 in the St. Johns River District Hospital. He was born April 23, 1951 in Pontiac, MI.  He married Deborah Kay Snitchler on September 9, 1971 in Sterling Heights, MI. Shorty is survived by his wife Deborah, children John Thomas Leet, and Christina (Jeremy) Leet-Ficht, siblings George C. Leet and Vera Wedlake, and 8 grandchildren.                                                                                                        Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday September 12, 2012 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI.  Visitation  1-4 & 6-9 PM Tuesday.  Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Algonac.  Memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
