Donna Marie May
age 83 of Clay Twp., MI. died July 4, 2014 in her home. She was born March 16, 1931 in Algonac, MI. to the late Zenithen and Helen Bourget. She married James R. May on June 25, 1960, in Algonac.

Mrs. May is survived by her husband James R., children Sherry (Lou) LaParl Jr., Jim (JoAnne) Sammons, and Joe (Sue) May, grandchildren Jennifer (Bob) LaParl, Louie (Nikki) LaParl III, Nicole (Adam) Owen, and Joey May, great grandchildren Kyle, Kassy, Taylor, Anna, and Louis LaParl IV, a sister Fern (Lee) Chaney, wonderful caregivers Rosie, Patty, and Marisa, several nieces nephews, cousins, and dear friends, her beloved grand-animals Trixie, Belle, Lola, Phycho, Buddy, Jr., and Ernie. Predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law Earlene (Ellory “Joe”) Delorge.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday July 8, 2014 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI. Visitation 9:30 AM Tuesday until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Algonac Fred Quandt VFW Post #3901.
