Gloria J. McKeown
age 71 of Algonac, MI. passed away February 16, 2016 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 6, 1945 in Armada, MI. to the late Howard E. Morton and Betty Miller.

Gloria graduated from Algonac High School in 1964. She was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Peters, MI.

Mrs. McKeown is survived by her son Kevin (Mary Beth) McKeown of Algonac, grandchildren Alana, Daniel, Shayla, David, and Devin, siblings Mary Avers of Algonac, Nancy Johnson of Algonac, Rose Hart of Algonac, Beverly Buckman of Warren, MI., Howard (Nancy) Morton of Port Huron, MI., Lynn Morton of Capac, MI., Charles (Diane) Harrington of Algonac, and Wayne (Tammy) Harrington of Algonac, an aunt Evelyn Whiting of Texas, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Betty Harrington and Howard and Winnifred Morton, a brother-in-law Edward Avers, a sister-in-law Betty Morton, a niece Kim Cumbersworth and nephew, Jim Buckman.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:30 PM Friday February 19, 2016 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Visitation 1:30 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 9:00 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
