Mary Ann McLane

Age 77 of Harsens Island, died January 11, 2017 in her home. She was born February 8, 1939 in Dearborn, MI. She married Orlo M. McLane Jr. on August 25, 1961 in Dearborn, he died December 30, 1999.

Mary Ann served as director on the board of Harsens Island-St. Clair Flats Associations, a member of the Harsens Island Garden Club, she also served on the board of directors for the Readers Cove Library. She was a donor for many different charities including the Orlo M. McLane Jr. scholarship fund.

Mrs. McLane is survived by her aunt Colleen Klekamp, cousins Kathy Klekamp and Karen Klekamp, brother-in-law Jon C. (Sharon) McLane Sr. and a sister-in-law Mary Alice Wright, many nieces, nephews, and extended friends and family members.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday January 16, 2017 in the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Algonac, MI. Visitation 1-4 & 6-9 PM Sunday in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac and 9:30 AM Monday until time of service at the church. Burial will be in the Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia, MI.

Memorial donations may be made to the Readers Cove, Harsens Island St. Clair Flats Association Scholarship Fund, or to the Harsens Island Garden Club Scholarship Fund.
