Mary Elizabeth Minnich
age 91 of Harsens Island, MI. died June 27, 2016 in the St. Johns River District Hospital. She was born November 5, 1924 in Pearl Beach, MI. She married Wilfred Frederick Minnich who passed away January 31, 1993.

Mary owned and operated Minnich Boat and Motors on Harsens Island for 60 years. She was a proud sponsor of the Pearl Beach Lions and was known as the best fisherman on the Middle Channel.

Mrs. Minnich is survived by her children Paula (George) Burgess, Paul (Teresa) Minnich, and Lorie (Ricky) Dean, grandchildren George Burgess, Karen Blair, David Burgess, Valerie (Terry) Waggoner, Melissa Minnich, and Heidi (John) Cain, great grandchildren the light of her eye Lilly Rose, Landon, Teresa, Paulynna, Josh, Ben, Jessica, Grace, Josh, Jane, Jillian, and George R.

Cremation has taken place. In staying with Mary’s wishes there will be no services. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI.
