Edwin O. Rollins
age 97 of Algonac, MI died August 28, 2013 in his home. He was born September 9, 1915 in Almont, MI. He married Dorothy C. Becherer on June 5, 1937 on Harsens Island, MI., she died February 18. 2010.

Edwin was a member of the Algonac Knights of Columbus. He loved hunting and fishing. After retiring, he took up running and ran in numerous races and marathons.

Mr. Rollins is survived by his children Marie Patton, Dr. Michael (Krys) Rollins, Anne Czajkowski, Fred (Mary) Rollins, and Thomas Rollins, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Mr. Rollins will be instate at 10:30 AM Saturday August 31, 2013 with mass at 11:00 AM in the Our Lady on the River Parish St. Catherines Church, Algonac. Visitation Friday 6-9 PM in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. A scripture service will be held at 7:30 PM Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. Catherines Cemetery, Algonac. Memorial donations may be made to the Donor’s Choice.
