Violet Marion Schoeninger

Age 95 of Algonac Died March 29, 2007 in the Medilodge of St. Clair. She was born March 27, 1912 in Detroit. She married Richard T. Schoeninger, he died October 11, 1993.

Mrs. Schoeninger was a member of the F.O.E, Fair Haven. she was a wonderful bowler who bowled in the Woman's Professional Bowling Association for many years. She also loved to fish and enjoyed the outdoors. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.

Survived by her son Richard (Mary) Schoeninger: grandsons, Gregory (Patty) and Jeffrey (Cindy); great-grandchildren, Suzanne, Megan and Amanda; step great-grandchildren Melissa nad Jenifer; great-great-grandchildren, Anthony, Kristen and Moriah and good friend, Joan Glendenning. She was predeceased by her husband Richard T.; daughter, Carol Boivin; sister, Betty Vogan and brother, Bill Martz.

Funeral service 10:00 AM Monday April 2, 2007 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac with Fr. Timothy Birney of the St. Catherines Catholic Church officiating. Visitation will be Sunday 1-4 & 6-9 PM. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Algonac.
