Harry “Dale” Spiekhout
age 79 formerly of New Baltimore, MI. died March 28, 2011 in his daughter’s home in Houston, TX (where he spent the winter months) after a long battle with lung cancer. He was born February 6, 1932 in Cheboygan, MI to the late Harry and Gladys Spiekhout. He married Estelle Bauer on January 9, 1954.

Dale spent most of his life outdoors working, hunting, fishing and carpentry.

Mr. Spiekhout is survived by his wife of 57 years Estelle, children Theresa (Paul) Scally, Tom (Tammy) Spiekhout and Kim (Bill) Roach, siblings, Bruce (Judy) Spiekhout and Sue (Bob) McPhefran, 9 granchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Pam, brothers Sidney and Morris, and a great grandson.

Funeral services 11:00 AM Saturday April 2, 2011 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 6-9 PM and Friday 1-4 & 6-9 PM.
